Pont de Ferro

In 1939, at the end of the Spanish Civil War, in the municipality of l’Arboç there was a bridge known as ‘Pont de Ferro’ (Iron Bridge), because it was built in iron. Some time ago, the bridge was totally destroyed in order to obtain the iron metal to exchange it for money. The were hard times. Currently, this bridge still remains but it is built in concrete, and it is a place where most of the families from the town meet once a year to have lunch due to the Easter Monday holiday.

Brut

  • Appearance

    Straw yellow color with green tones. Fine persistent bubbles. Bright appearance.

  • Nose

    Soft aging aroma with signs of flower, ripe fruit and cítrics.

  • Palate

    Extremely vivacious in mouth compensated with a pleasant elegance and equilibrium. The aftertaste remains to white fruits and some signs of cítrics.

  • Final impression

    Fresh, pleasant, balanced and a fine bubbling structure.

Brut Nature

  • Appearance

    Pale yellow with green tones. Good release of fine and persistent bubbles.

  • Nose

    Clean and fruity, with clear notes of ripe fruit and toasted hints.

  • Palate

    Well structured in the mouth, homogeneous flavours which evoke the varieties of the grapes used in the blending. Appropriate presence of carbonic in the mouth, balanced in acidity and sugars. Smooth and long aftertaste. Clean retro-nasal effect.

  • Final impression

    Pleasant at the beginning, with an excellent integration of the carbonic, and a long, persistent aftertaste in which ripe fruit predominates.

Brut Rosé

  • Appearance

    Clean and brilliant, attractive cherry-pink color and lively violet hightlights. A final and persistent bubble with abundant formation of rosaries and a thick crown.

  • Nose

    A fresch aroma, clean with signs of ripe fruit, specially strawberry.

  • Palate

    Characteristic of the varietal, fruity and complex, with a particular emphasis to wild fruits, above all the strawberry. Its ageing confers it a long, balanced flow in the mouth, mainitaining it fresh and lively.

  • Final impression

    Fresh, pleasant, balanced, Good structure and carbonic features well integrated. Aftertaste pleasant and full, with repetition and harmonization on the aromas in the nose and mouth.
